TERMS & CONDITIONS
All orders placed by you and purchases of goods from us are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by us either by delivery of the goods to you; at which point a legally binding contract is constituted between you and us. The processing of your payment and acknowledgment of your order (including sending you an email confirming your order is being processed) does not constitute legal acceptance of your order.
ORDERING
Simply browse the catalogue adding the required items and amounts to your cart. You can register if you are a first time user or login if you are revisiting.
By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact one of our customer service advisors before placing an order with us.
SIZING
We do not charge cutting and couting fees.
All measurements are approximate. If your project requires precise measurements, please get in touch with the details and we will do our best to match your requirements.
If you purchase more than one metre of fabric or tape you will be sent a continuous piece where possible.
i.e. Velvet ribbon can be sent in max 5m cuts.
PAYMENT
We can only accept card payments via our website.
Bank transfer payment are available for UK clients. Please contact us to make an order.
All payments must be made in GBP as we are based in the UK.
Cash and card payment will be available in store. *opening soon*
We are currently not a VAT registered business, therefore all prices are not subject to VAT.
For international orders, tax and customs are the client sole responsibility. We do not collect duties and taxes, and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. For more information regarding your country’s customs policies, please contact your local customs office.
The price payable for the goods you order or purchase is as set out on our website at the time you submit your order or, All prices include the current applicable VAT rate unless otherwise stated.
We also reserve the right to change the price of commodity goods, at any time due to market conditions but we will confirm the prevailing price with you before accepting your order or purchase. We are not obliged to accept your order or purchase for such goods and may decline it or limit the order quantity.
Occasionally, an error may occur and goods may be either incorrectly priced or described in which case we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price or in accordance with the incorrect description or at all. We reserve the right to correct any errors from time to time. We will (at our discretion) either cancel your order and refund the price you have paid or use reasonable endeavours to contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or correct description. If we are unable to contact you or you do not wish to continue with the order at the correct price or correct description, we will cancel your order and refund the price you have paid.
We recommend that you do not communicate your payment card details or PayPal details and password to anyone, including us, by email. We cannot be responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by internet link or by email. Any such loss shall be entirely your responsibility.
DELIVERY
Processing time varies between 1-5 working days, depending on the volume of orders.
If your order is urgent please mail us prior to purchasing!
Most orders delivered within the UK will be sent via Royal Mail and they will get in touch directly via email with the tracking number. If you do not receive any communication from Royal Mail, please check your junk folder.
If you have not received your order within a few days from shipping confirmation, give your local delivery office a ring as the post office don't always leave a card to let you know they have a parcel for you.
If you have not received your order after 7 days from shipping confirmation, let us know and we'll investigate for you.
All delivery aims are estimates supplied by our shipping partners. They do not guarantee your goods will arrive in this time period. We cannot be held responsible for late deliveries.
Claims for a lost parcel must be made within 30 calendar days of the date of posting, or no claim will be entertained.
Royal Mail has no legal liability for any loss if at the time of the claim 30 days has expired from the date of posting. Royal Mail advises customers to claim as soon as possible after an event has occurred to enable enquiries to be made promptly.
Monitoring tracking is your responsibility. If a parcel is returned to us due to non-collection we will have to charge again to re-ship and refunds won't be available.
For international orders, Air Mail normally takes 3-5 working days but can take longer for a number of reasons so please be patient.
All fabrics are shipped folded. If you require fabrics to be shipped on a roll, please contact us for an updated shipping quote.
RETURNS
In line with Distance Selling rules, we only accept returns for up to 14 days after the receipt of your items. We can only offer a full refund on the cost of your items, as long as they are returned to us in a fully resellable condition, with the original packing intact. Items which have been used or cut cannot be returned.
We are unable to cover the cost of returning an item, or a refund on the original shipping costs. When you return an item, please ensure you provide your name and details within the package so we can process it properly upon receipt.
Once we have received your return, we will email you to confirm your parcel has been received by us. Please allow 10 working days for returns to be processed.
Please take into account that dye lots and batches may change in between you ordering a sample and placing your order, no matter how short a time period this may be.
Please order fabric samples or contact us for tapes and ribbon samples, as the colour on your screen may not always match the fabric perfectly and we cannot accept returns/refunds on fabrics due to colour.
We are unable to offer refund on the following items:

STOCK AVAILABILITY
We always strive to ensure that the indicated stock availability is accurate. Although very uncommon, there can be discrepancies between actual and indicated stock levels, due to extremely busy periods. In the unlikely event that this should occur, we will inform you as soon as possible and we will strive to minimise any delay wherever possible.
COUPONS
To use a coupon, please enter your promotion code in the box when you are checking out. The applicable discounts will then be applied and deducted from the total due.
We cannot add discounts to orders once the order is confirmed.
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES
Some of our goods are sold with a manufacturer's warranty, guarantee or similar assurance (please see the relevant product description on our website for further details). Any complaint, query or claim under a manufacturer's warranty, guarantee or similar assurance must be made direct to the manufacturer and we do not have any responsibility or liability under or in connection with any such warranty, guarantee or assurance.
Any manufacturer's warranty, guarantee or similar assurance applies in addition to your legal rights if you are a consumer. Some products may feature an extended manufacturer’s warranty. These need to be registered within 28 days of purchase – see the product documentation for more information
ITEMS WITH AGE REQUIREMENTS
Where you place an order for or otherwise purchase age-restricted goods such as knives and knife blades you confirm that you are over the age of 18 and that (where applicable) delivery will be accepted by a person over the age of 18. We reserve the right to cancel your order or purchase if we reasonably believe you do not meet the age restrictions for certain goods.
EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder or for any other liability, in each case that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, accidents, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, flood, storm, earthquake, natural disaster, failure of telecommunications networks, inability to use transport networks, mechanical failures, acts of God, terrorist attack, war, civil commotion, riots, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, acts or restraints of Government, and imposition or restrictions of imports or exports).
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, We accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Website or any information contained therein. You should be aware that you use the Website and its Content at your own risk.
We are only responsible for losses that are a natural, foreseeable consequence of our breach of these Terms and Conditions.
We only supply Goods for domestic and private use. We make no warranty or representation that the Goods are fit for commercial, business or industrial use of any kind (including resale). We will not be liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, interruption to business or for any loss of business opportunity.
